Mad Trails has players navigate treacherous mountain trails where every hill, ridge, and boulder will test their driving abilities. Rather than racing through obstacles as quickly as possible and using speed as your advantage, Mad Trails requires players to navigate the terrain in the tiniest of increments. The soft-wheel physics of your truck react realistically to any unstable ground; tires will compress upon hitting a sharp edge, tires will slip off loose boulders, and it may even tilt at danger levels when the truck is off balance.
Every trail is painstakingly handcrafted, consisting of steep climbs, shifting boulders, undeviating ridgelines, and small arches that require absolute control to maneuver through all undulations. Even a single misjudged throttle input can flip your truck backwards, or if you hesitate too long, you lose momentum and never get out of harm's way. While dealing with a countdown timer to heighten the stress of every action, players are constantly trying to find a successful blend of traction, acceleration, and stability to make it to the end of the trail.
Mad Trails makes off-road driving into an intellectual challenge where the ground itself becomes your most difficult nemesis, and surprisingly, your best teacher.

As soon as you take the start on any course in Mad Trails, it is a constant challenge of analyzing the terrain and adjusting your approach to driving. This is not a "start and go" game; every obstacle requires you to think in advance and manage cautiously.
The off-road trails have:
Each terrain has a different way of interacting with your tires that will cause you to constantly adjust.
The soft-wheel physics model is the lifeblood of Mad Trails:
Every course has a strict time limit. Even if you make good driving choices, if you don’t have control of your speed, you will still not finish the course appropriately. The pressure of racing against the clock creates a mixture of caution and urgency!
The driving layout is simple:
Those four directional commands are how any vehicle will move, and it's worth noting that even tiny adjustments matter on unstable terrain.
Mad Trails is for players who appreciate technical driving, physics-based distractions, and the thrill from mastering a climb after multiple unsuccessful attempts.
